Christy Marek

Companionship • Compassion

Christy Marek is an end-of-life doula, soul companion, meditation teacher, and writer who has spent more than a decade accompanying people through illness, caregiving, dying, grief, and life's other profound thresholds. Her work is rooted in the understanding that how we live is deeply connected to how we approach death, dying, grief, and loss, and that presence, authentic relationship, and deep listening are among the most meaningful forms of care we can offer one another.

Drawing from contemplative practice, the Anamcara tradition of spiritual companioning, creativity, and nature-based wisdom, Christy supports people in staying connected to themselves, to what matters most, and to the mystery of being alive. Whether sitting bedside, facilitating creative reflection circles, teaching, mentoring, or companioning individuals and families, she creates spaces where people can slow down, tune in, and meet uncertainty with greater steadiness and trust.

At the heart of her work is a simple premise: life’s most tender passages were never meant to be walked alone.
